Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Codemad's Publisher (the "Tool") handles and how. The Tool is a private tool used by Codemad to publish Codemad's own content to Codemad's own social media accounts.
1. Information the Tool stores
- Connected account details: the account name, username, profile picture and account ID that TikTok, Instagram or YouTube share when an account owner approves access.
- Access tokens: the codes these platforms issue so the Tool can upload posts to the connected account. They are stored securely on Codemad's own server.
- Content: the videos, photos and captions that Codemad uploads to the Tool to be posted.
- Tool login: the email address and password used to sign in to the Tool itself.
2. How the information is used
This information is only used to upload and schedule posts to the connected accounts and to show which account each post goes to. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
3. Sharing
Codemad does not sell, rent or share this information with anyone. Content is only sent to the platform it is being posted to. Uploaded media is stored with Cloudflare so the platforms can fetch it during upload.
4. How long it is kept
Account details and access tokens are kept while an account stays connected and deleted when it is disconnected. Uploaded media may be deleted after it has been posted.
5. Removing access
An account owner can disconnect an account in the Tool at any time, or remove the Tool's access directly in the platform's settings:
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, then Security, then Manage app permissions
- Instagram: Settings, then Apps and websites
- Google / YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions

6. Google user data
The Tool's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Changes
Codemad may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
